Norm Schutte

Norm was initially introduced to and intrigued by the martial arts when in his teens. The pursuit of other life-goals caused him delay his study until later in life. Beginning in 2002 he made a personal commitment to commence his study in earnest at the University of Kansas Medical Center branch of the Kwanzaa Martial Arts Academy. He quickly moved from the Medical Center facility to training at Master Muhammad’s more spacious main school. He progressed to the rank of 1^st Dan in the spring of 2007. He continues to pursue further learning and advancement within Kwanzaa’s program while retaining his employment at the University of Kansas.
