David Muhammad - 3rd Degree Black Belt

David Muhammad has been involved in the martial arts his entire life. Under the guidance of his father, Master Rudolph Muhammad, he has been able to flourish in the art. An avid competitor, David has had the opportunity to travel across the nation to compete against some of the best national and international competitors through NASKA (North America Sport Karate Association).

David is a certified instructor who teaches regularly at Kwanzaa Martial Arts Academy. He has started martial arts clubs at Fort Scott Community College, Emporia State University, and presently at Shawnee Mission East High School; where he is also a Social Studies Instructor.

Currently, David is one of the coaches for the Kwanzaa Martial Arts demonstration/competition team. This team trains regularly and is composed of advanced students who desire to elevate their training. In the future, David would like to continue teaching the martial arts and traveling to different competitions. It is his goal to carry on the legacy that his father inherited and to maintain the high standard established at Kwanzaa Martial Arts Academy.
